FFS is a registered entity with the Registrar of financial institutions, the Reserve Bank of Malawi and a member of the Malawi Microfinance Network (MAMN). It was incorporated under the Companies Act, No.15 of 2013 on 14th September 2023.
FFS was incorporated with the sole aim of transforming the microfinance sector in Malawi. At FSS, we know that a customer is KING, and our customers are treated as such. We have friendly customer service staff who go an extra mile to meet customer needs. Our services are structured in such a manner that fosters openness, trust and integrity.
FFS Culture
FFS’ culture is to be the center of excellence in customer service and providing solutions to customers’ requests that may appear impossible. The culture is to ensure that clients who engage FFS find value in the engagement and their financial needs met with utmost speed.
FFS’ philosophy is therefore to equip its staff with all the enabling resources in terms of improving staff education, competitive remuneration package and tools to service customers.
Mr Jambo is a businessman with extensive banking experience spanning over a period of 25years. He is a former banker with expertise in corporate and banking, banking operations and marketing. He retired as the Chief Business Development Officering July 2023 to set up a microfinance institution following his long passion to improve financial inclusion in Malawi. He had worked for CDH Investment Bank for 10 years up to July 2023. Before Joining CDH Investment Bank in 2013, he had worked as a Head of Domestic Banking for a pan African Bank, Ecobank Malawi. Mr Jambo amassed a great deal of expertise in retail banking operations having worked for Malawi Savings Bank for 10 Years where he rose to the position of acting Head of Retail Banking. He started his career in 1997working as a credit officer for a micro finance company called Malawi Rural Finance Company Ltd where his passion to improve the wellbeing of consumer customers was hatched.
Mr Benison Jambo holds a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance (2003) from the University of Wales, Bangor. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree which he obtained from the University of Malawi, Polytechnic in 1994.
